Klaus Mueller has about 25 years of experience as a senior executive leading multibillion dollar aerospace firms and actively managing several multimillion projects during his tenure.

Mueller was responsible for the development and implementation of business strategies, various business development projects, and different performance-oriented activities such as M&A, corporate reorganizations, lean-projects, and reengineering of the sales force. He is known in the industry for his in-depth knowledge of the aviation market and its developments.

Klaus has excellent contacts with senior-level decision makers in the airline and aerospace industry (OEM and MRO). He is a member of the advisory board of Aviation Week Conferences and the Abu Dhabi Aviation Summit.

As Senior Vice President Corporate Development at MTU Aero Engines, he developed the strategy and headed all M&A activities of the corporate group. In his role, he was also responsible for business development in China and the Market Intelligence Group. For more than five years he steered the long-term vision of MTU and steered the group to its excellent position of leadership in the aero engine market.

At Lufthansa Technik (LHT) he served in multiple divisions including: Business Development, Marketing, Controlling, and Strategy. Klaus led vital projects during the foundation and actively accelerated LHT Group Sales. He headed the Market Intelligence Group as Senior Manager Market Research for a about a decade.

Klaus is a brilliant visionary with extraordinary ability to understand the vagaries of market trends and take decisive action to overcome the challenges of growing the business of a multinational organization.

Klaus holds a Master of Business and Mechanical Engineering from TU Darmstadt. He is married and lives in Hamburg, Germany.
